【短片】天燈燎原　資源回收場大火200警消灌救

【綜合報導】美國森林大火造成19名消防人員殉職，英國西中地(West Midlands)一處塑膠資源回收場，也發生大火。這場號稱當地「史上最大火災」，由於天氣炎熱加上乾燥，現場又都是易燃物，火勢一發不可收拾，動員超過200名警消全力灌救，才受到控制。

這個資源回收場當時堆放了近5萬公噸的回收塑膠製品，目擊者表示，昨天(1日)晚間大約11時，看到一個中國天燈飛過上空墜落，接著就發現火苗，消防單位在接到報案後立刻到場，但火勢蔓延速度太快，又緊急調配附近機具與人員到場協助，並要求附近居民緊閉門窗。由於濃煙衝高到約6千呎的高度，飛航單位一度考慮要更改班機航線。最後造成9名警消人員受傷，幸好沒有生命危險。
