印尼礦災死亡人數增至21人

美國業者表示，印尼巴布亞省唐貝加普拉地區(Tembagapura)格拉斯柏格(Grasberg)礦場坍塌事故，目前死亡人數已經增加到21人，而救難人員還在尋找瓦礫堆下的另外7名工人，預料凶多吉少。

由美國自由港麥克莫蘭銅金公司(Freeport-McMoRan)經營的這個礦場，是在14日發生坍塌。事發當時，自由港麥克莫蘭銅金公司38名員工正參加安全訓練課程，有10人獲救。

自由港麥克莫蘭銅金公司成立於1912年，是世界最大的黃金生產商之一。據相關報導，在這一處金礦礦區中，有大約2萬4,000名工人受雇，其中多數是印尼人。
