中元節禽肉需求倍增 中市設小屠宰場防疫

【曾雪蒨／台中報導】中元節即將到來，市府農業局預估台中市禽肉需求量，可能從平日一天3萬隻暴增至6萬3千隻，因擔心禁止現場宰殺生禽導致禽肉供應不足，台中市副市長蔡炳坤今天指出，市府除預先做好產銷因應計畫，宣導攤商以生鮮、冷藏、冷凍3種禽肉搭配販售，也需針對屠宰場分布不均情況，輔導當地成立小型屠宰廠改善，目前已經通過大雅區成立小型屠宰廠，另有2家申請中；蔡炳坤說，農業局將視情況延長屠宰場作業時間，確保中元節期間禽肉供應充裕。
