【高堂堯／南投報導】今晚是七夕情人夜，南投天空之橋首度夜間開放至9點，縣政府邀請77對情侶或夫妻手持心型氣球和玫瑰花，在晚間7點7分隨著悠揚音樂漫步上新加裝LED燈光的橋身，在橋上吹著夏夜晚風，欣賞美麗的彰化平原夜景、擁抱、親吻，訴說無盡愛意，讓天空之橋瞬間幻化成現代鵲橋。
 
「心裡很感動！」在北部工作的30歲薛先生和在彰化工作的林小姐，經過5年愛情遠距長跑，決定10月份參加南投縣政府在日月潭舉辦的集體婚禮，今晚2人特地到天空之橋「暖身」，互訴衷情；彰化大學生許同學對女友說：「雖然不時有爭執，我仍希望和你一直走下去！」女友感動獻上熱吻，讓現場溫度驟升。
