廖榮鑫爆冷門 升任上將副參謀總長

國防部軍晚間宣布，常務次長廖榮鑫中將將於9月1日接任參謀本部副總長執行官，當天並將由總統府發布升任二級上將。

由於原先三位副總長當中，海軍陳永康接任海軍司令，陸軍嚴德發接任軍備副部長，外界多半預期將由僅剩的副總長、空軍中將沈一鳴接任執行官（首席副總長）並升上將；也有人猜測，空軍副司令陳添勝中將曾任總統府侍衛長，又是本省籍，可能會出線。不料結果卻是「黑馬」廖榮鑫，如此一來也將使參謀本部出現，總長與三位副總長全部都換人的局面。

廖榮鑫是空軍官校六十七年班，在中將任內曾擔任國防部整評室主任、空軍防砲指揮部指揮官、國防部飛彈指揮部指揮官，現任國防部常務次長。
